The events of infiniSpace: Deception takes place, the Vek plan their invasion of Earth society by means of covert persona transfers within infiniSpace. In order for this invasion to take place the Vek need to enable the humans with the knowledge of how to accomplish this and embed it with infiniSpace. The trick is persona transfers have been mandated as morally illegal by the Church. Persona transfers would basically allow humans to become immortal, or to transcend…which is what the Vek have been able to finally achieve and was the initial cause of the first Transcendence War.
