The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online Launches April 4th

The MMORPG version of the popular Elder Scroll series is set to launch early next year (2014).  But make no mistake, this game may take place in the same setting as those popular games, but it doesn’t play the same.  It’s a MMORPG to its heart, along with all the mechanics and expectations that implies.

The Elder Scrolls Online takes place hundreds of years before Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, but will allow players to eventually explore most of the continent of Tamriel while joining one of three factions.

ESO will be released April 4, 2014 for PC, and sometime in June for console systems (PS4 & Xbox One), but cross platform play will not be allowed.
