Weekend Box Office: Apr 17-19, 2015

Science fiction and speculative fiction is, once again, criminally underrepresented in the weekend box office.  Furious 7 has been dominating the box office for a couple weeks now, and only The Divergent Series: Insurgent represents the science fiction/dystopia genres, and Unfriended represents the horror genre, but neither are very well done representatives of the genre(s) we know and love.

But the summer movie season is kicking in soon, starting with Avengers: Age of Ultron.  So stay tuned . . .
