I Drink Your Milkshake by Al Brady

Bloody hell there’s a lot going on in this piece of concept art that is in the best tradition of space opera!  Some sort of enormous world building satellite rig is orbiting a gas giant that probably makes Jupiter look the size of a tennis ball.  This rig is siphoning off mass/gases/material from the gas giant, and transferring up to a series of some type of matter forges that are converting this mass or energy (same thing) and extruding artificial worlds.

Each of these worlds reside in different orbits and thus at different positions in the planet’s gravity well, so each one has its own level of gravity tailored to whatever, presumably, alien race happens to live there.  Ships fly between docking stations protruding our from the sides of these tabletop worlds, transferring goods and people.

Quite an amazing piece of art of you take some time to look at everything that’s going on.  The title is, of course, in reference to the classic non-scifi movie There Will Be Blood.
