The Expanse Trailer

Over the years my opinion of SyFy has soured to the point where I barely even dial them up on my satellite receiver.  Well, not since the days of the great Battlestar Galactica reboot.  But now there may be reason to tune in again.

SyFy has released a new trailer for The Expanse, an honest to goodness, IN SPACE science fiction series based on the series of novels penned by James S. A. Corey (which is really a pen name for the writing team of Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck).  The Expanse is taken from the name of the setting where their series of novels take place.

The books in the series are shown below, with more forthcoming, assuredly:

The Expanse #1: Leviathan Wakes (2011)
The Expanse #2: Caliban’s War (2012)
The Expanse #3: Abaddon’s Gate (2013)
The Expanse #4: Cibola Burn (June 2014)
The Expanse #5: Nemesis Games (June 2015)

Check out the trailer above.  It has potential . . . at least it’s not wrasslin’ on SyFy.
