The desert outpost was routinely punished by the scouring sand storms that ravaged the surface of Halcyon . . . a name surely given in jest when the planet was first colonized almost a century before.  But on occasion the storms clear, the moons peak out, and the stronghold stands beautifully anchored to the planet, defying the storm that is sure to come the next day.
