Tolkien’s Helm’s Deep Done With Legos

What you see below is a Monument to Geek.  A Bastion of Nerd.  An Antiquity of the Obsessed.  And a hell of a lot of work.  Two intrepid Lego fans named Rich-K and Big J have recreated what looks to be the movie interpretation of Helm’s Deep from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, specifically The Two Towers.

The keep is constructed from 150,000+ Lego pieces, more than 1700 minifigs, and hours upon hours of cursing.

Enjoy!
