Logging In Now Required at Infinispace

The ugly truth of running a blog, especially as traffic begins to increase, is that WordPress spambots find you and fill your comments full of garbage.  To combat this I’m running several plugins that try to filter spam, but some of it is even bypassing these safeguards.

So starting today if you’d like to comment on an article you will have to create a WordPress account on Infinispace.net and log in before doing so.

There are other alternatives.  You may also log in using various social networking APIs that will show up in the comment area, log in area, and the registration area, but will disappear once you’re logged in.

Thanks for understanding that I want to give people an easy path to making quick comments while at the same time combating spam.
